MIXD Gallery is thrilled to be accepting artist applications for the fourth-annual By Design show, happening October 8 to November 29 in Rogers, AR. Open to emerging and established artists and is free to apply.

MIXD Gallery thrilled to be accepting artist applications for our fourth-annual design show: By Design. Free to apply and open to artists at every stage of their career, selected artists will be provided an opportunity for visibility, connection, and recognition within a professional gallery setting. Individual artists and collaboratives working in all visual media are encouraged to apply.
The goal is to create an annual exhibition celebrating the amazing talent and creative energy of artists living and working throughout the Ozarks region. Artists will be chosen through our standard curatorial process. Please see below for qualifications and requirements for submission.
DEADLINE
Submissions close August 2nd and applicants will be notified of selection via email by August 7.

Investigating the marriage of fine art and function, By Design embraces the intersection of art and design. Through a curated selection of artists and designers connected to the Ozark region, By Design celebrates the immersion of intentional, hand made, and collection-worthy pieces into our day-to-day.

PERKS
Selected artists will be provided an opportunity for visibility, connection, and recognition within a professional gallery setting.
VISIBILITY
Exhibit your work in a professional gallery setting and reach new audiences across Northwest Arkansas.
CONNECTION
Join a curated community of regional artists, designers, curators, and arts professionals.
AMPLIFICATION
Selected artists will be included in our strategic marketing initiatives, including visual storytelling through photo and video, social media promotion, and digital and editorial ad spend.
QUALIFICATIONS
APPLICANTS MUST
- • Be currently living and working in the Northwest Arkansas region
- • Be at least 18 years of age
- • Submit an original, cohesive body of work created by the applying artist(s)
- • Provide high-resolution, white background imagery of work upon submission
- • Provide details for body of work including artwork name, dimensions, medium and pricing
- • Provide headshot and formal artist bio
KEY DATES
- • August 2: Application deadline
- • August 7: Artists notified of acceptance
- • August 9–19: Artwork delivery window (Artists must deliver within date range to be included in promotional materials)
- • October 8: Show opening reception
- • November 29: Exhibition closes
- • December 1–4: Artwork pickup window (11:00 AM–6:00 PM daily)
- • December 4: Final artwork pickup deadline at 6:00 PM
GUIDELINES
- • All artwork must arrive exhibition-ready with appropriate hanging hardware or display requirements.
- • Artists are responsible for coordinating artwork delivery and pickup unless alternate arrangements have been approved in advance.
- • MIXD Gallery reserves the right to decline any work that differs significantly from submitted materials or is not ready for exhibition.
- • Accepted artists will receive a full exhibition agreement outlining exhibition terms, sales commissions, insurance coverage, and additional requirements.
