Simmons Residence

The Simmons Residence

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Built in 1936, the home thoughtfully preserves the timeless character of its historic architecture while introducing updates that make it functional for modern family life. Interior designer Melissa Hall Simmons honored the home’s traditional roots through refined millwork and finishes, then layered in antiques, contemporary furnishings, and meaningful art to create an interior that feels both collected and deeply personal. The art selection curated by MIXD Gallery adds another layer of interest and emotion throughout the home, with each piece chosen for its ability to evoke a memory, tell a story, or simply bring joy to the spaces.
