Meet the Artist

Brit Borcher

As an artist, I consider where vulnerability, sensitivity and generosity intersect my work. I am curious about the strange potential visual language; in my case, a concoction of abstract and figurative forms has to communicate the quality of experience. When I lean into this curiosity and paint, I paint about the things I encounter and what it feels like to encounter them.

Biography

Brit Borcher is a visual artist currently based in Fayetteville. She received her BFA from Hunter College and City University of New York, where she was a Kossak Painting Fellow. She is currently pursuing an MFA at the University of Arkansas.
