Meet the Artist
Landon Perkins
I create narratives through conceptual arrangements. My artwork contextualizes the mundane experiences found in our current and future landscapes. Through this exploration, I find stories in items of commodity and I use that discovered information to transcend the everyday into something hopefully grander. My work starts from a genuine place of personal questioning and reflection, overtime that grows to interrogate and incorporate themes often tied to industrial symptoms. I create art to highlight paradoxes in manicured climates, form observations around the familiar, and anticipate what may lie ahead for the human condition and our environments.
