Soeun Park

Park So-eun is a ceramic/visual artist born in Korea and based in the United States and Taiwan. She uses her experience as an Asian woman who gained access to various languages and cultures. She discovers sexist expressions and words through translation, inherent in language and interprets them anew in visual language. Her work uses soft, sweet colors and criticizes and praises the feminine symbols inherent in language at the same time.
