Natural Beings

Introducing MIXD Gallery’s second drop, Natural Beings, on display March 3 – May 24.

Natural Beings considers the symbiotic relationship between an organism and its habitat. In a survey of traditional landscapes and portraiture, the collection of works captures the porous boundaries between humanity and our natural surroundings. Natural Beings is a celebration of the diverse figural representation in dialogue with real and imagined environments, inviting viewers to assess how one subject may influence the other.
