Meet the Artist

Anne Fletcher

In August of 2021, Anne set out with her dog to travel the United States in her campervan with the goal to reconnect with the land and with herself, and to create artwork inspired by this journey. Alternating between abstract landscapes and more traditional figures and portraiture, Anne creates vignettes that provide a glimpse into the places seen and people met along the way. Her work explores concepts such as reciprocity, duality, human connection (or lack-there- of) with non-human beings, and dreamlike spaces not anchored in a specific place.

All the work created, whether photographs, paintings, or drawings, are part of a larger series called the “Yin Series – A Reconnection to Our Feminine Energy”. The pieces available through MIXD Gallery are the first to be released from this series.

Anne is currently still traveling with her dog in her campervan collecting inspiration, healing her relationship with the land and self, and building out the Yin Series.
